VARA® Plates install on your outboard motor ventilation plate, which enables you to use your trim/tilt switch for "Active Pitch Control." Designed for use with our VARA® Foil pontoon and tritoon hydrofoil kits, it is also sold separately for those boaters that want that extra control underway along with superior efficiency by separating the prop flow in the water stream from the surface air while utilizing a large "rooftop" plate. Our patent pending plate design is meant to cover the prop and keep it separated from the air it seeks when loaded up. This large plate enables you to put bow up by tapping trim/tilt switch upward, or bow down by tapping trim/tilt switch downward, it's that easy.
